i was running 2 teamspeaks, 1 with 10'000 slots and the other with 40'000 slots on a dedicated server, i had a email from the company i rent the dedicated server from saying that i was using 4 X the bandwidth i would be allowed in 1 month, i shut down half my game servers and stoped the teamspeaks.
even though these were never used, as in 0/10'000 slots, would it STILL use bandwidth by running it empty??? if so how many.
Thanks in Advance

It would use very little, if any bandwith when empty

You must not exceed a total of 1000 slots over a maximum of 10 TeamSpeak servers within your organization. In addition, you must configure each of your servers to run no more than 100 slots.
If your not a ATHP (Authorized TeamSpeak Host Provider), you shouldnt be advertising the fact that your using that many slots....

1. Use of TeamSpeak
TeamSpeak is being distributed as Freeware. It may be freely used, copied and distributed as long as it is not sold and all original files are included, including this license. You may download and use both the TeamSpeak Client or Server applications on as many computers as you require. TeamSpeak servers are defined as ANY server upon which a connection is allowed -- be it virtual or physical. You must not exceed a total of 1000 slots over a maximum of 10 TeamSpeak servers within your organization. In addition, you must configure each of your servers to run no more than 100 slots.
Nope....
Read through the EULA

But if you rent the dedi, then run your own TS... i think there is some ruling for it...

This doesn't matter. The person who hosts a TeamSpeak server is bound to the license agreement. Gameservers.com is not hosting your TeamSpeak server so they are not paying licensing fees for it. You are hosting your TeamSpeak server on one of their dedicated servers. Therefore you are bound to the hosting conditions set in the EULA.
Else every provider of dedicated servers would have to pay licensing fees as their customers could run TeamSpeak on their servers. This makes no sense.

First of all, why would you even want a 10,000 slot server? I doubt you know 10 people much less 10,000. Get a life man and quit stealing from TeamSpeak.
