I've been through about 20 topics concerning the beeping noise wile talking and i've tryed it ALL.
My TS used to NEVER beep. now all the sudden it does and i've been dealing with it for a long time untill today.
I am sick of it.

1.I've tryed changing the push to talk keys, Still Beeps!
2.Changes Windows Sound Themes to none , Still Beeps!
3.Focused Window/clicked name, Still Beeps!
4.Messed around with Volume and advanced Properties for playback and recording, Still Beeps!
5.menu/run --- sndvol32.exe /ok the windo the pops up is your sound propertys ... go to the options tab / propertys check the recording button ... keep the mic and wave , midi synth checked . the rest are not needed for ts save your changes, Still Beeps!
6.Reinstalled TS , Still Beeps!
7.make sure ur microphone is the only thing selected for recording and the volume is up over half way , Still Beeps!
8.even when i unhook my mic, and use push to talk it STILL BEEPS DAMNIT!, so its somthing with TS itself or my computer settings.

On msn/CSS/Vent/sound recorder..... so on... this ONLY happense on TS and no other program. and yes, i have messed with TS's Settings too and STILL BEEPS!

it would be nice to get more suggestions on what the problem is becides the ones on the list that didnt work the least bit.

new to me...
what do mean by beeps? does it beep? or a continuous noise?

try reisntalling sound drivers.

or try the developer release binary.. maybe that will help.

Asoon as i talk or push the button to talk, in otherwords asoon as the green light lights up theres a continious beeping noise that will occure for as long as i talk.

You need to use buttons such as the f# keys, ctrl, alt, or mouse buttons so it doesn't beep. There might be some other ones but I can't remember what they are off the top of my head.

Go into your sound options on the computer. You should have a sound theme. You need to disable the sound for when you hold down a button. Once you do that, you shouldn't have a problem.
