Hi all,

I have had a problem crop up recently. When I use Voice activation, it doesn't matter how low I set the input, it is still stuck as 'on'. I have tried adjusting my windows microphone input, mic boost, etc. and if I set both to very low (and wisper) it will stop taking input, but will activate at the slightest sound.

I think I started having the problem after doing a system recovery, from some nasty spyware.

System is now clean.

I am using Win xp sp2, Audigy 2 zs

I can't use the button activation (which works) because I fly a lot.

I have also tried a re-install of teamspeak (complete uninstall first). No change.

Any ideas?

I think the TeamSpeak-Client gets input all the time, perhaps from another mixer.

Please check your sound-settings: http://teamspeak.buddha.eu.com/indexeng.htm

Thanks Thomas,

That was a good walkthrough on setting the options, but I am still stuck. I think my next step will be to test the mic itself.

I just started to try and use TS with my gaming clan, we used to use vent. Anyways I had the same problem with the mic staying open and making a lot of noise. I searched out and installed new drivers for my on-board sound card and the problem seems to have gone away.
