Voice activation on vista problem

Greetings all,

My company recieved a copy of Vista for testing, my boss ordred me to test it on the laptop I use for work and also I used it as my gaming PC next to my desktop.

Any way going directly to the problem, Voice activation in TS doesn't work while using windows Vista.

I have to use push to talk only and that is a problem for me !

Any idea?

Teamspeak is not listed as supporting Vista.../On the requirement lists


Also, other voice programs such as skype are having a lot of problems (sound problems) with vista

We've the latest TeamSpeak 2 client and server running on different versions of Windows Vista (Beta 1, Beta 2, RC1, RC2) without any problems. The final version of Windows Vista has been released on Microsoft's MSDN website a few days ago, but we haven't installed it yet.

I think I'll test the final version during this week and if everything is working, I'll add Windows Vista to the compatibility list.

I suppose you are best trying the latest beta client, to see if that works....

Tried that, still no luck, I also need to add that while I play AA on vista TS doesn't work unless I switch to windows desktop and the game minimized !!!!

remeber that though Vista is officially released, there are still few drivers that work perfectly on it :/

i'm currently runnig the RTM and it's still quite buggy due to driver issues (but i admit it runs smoothly on push/talk)

I'm also Running Vista RTM but when I play Battlefield 2 my push to talk doesn't work :confused:

I've reinstalled Teamspeak and it still isnt working. The only way to get it to work is by minimizing to the desktop. I don't feel like going through the hassle of getting XP on my computer. When will this be fixed?

Hey guys, I fixed the problem. Here is how I fixed it
1.Right click on your Teamspeak icon
2.Go to properties on the list
3.At the top, left click on compatibility
4.From there, make sure you are running WindowsXP (Service Pack 2)
5.Lastly at the bottom, check the box that says "Run this program as Administrator"

Sorry if this doesnt work for you, but it worked for me.

i did that and it still didnt work. it would be awsome if teamspeak actually tried to help by making a tutorial or by fixing this stupid problem
