Ok here is the deal, I use a TS server with my clan. I am currently out of town and using my laptop. When I downloaded TS and tried to connect I got a connection timed out error. I have searched all over these forums (everything I could find in english atleast) and found a few things to try. I can connect to a different TS being run from the same computer as the one that is giving me the timed out error (we have a general purpose server and a private server, both require same username and password but the priviate server has ALOT more channels).
oh and before someone post a link to the FAQ page I have read it and here is a list of things I have tried.
Changed wireless connection to wired connection
Deleting TS account on server and recreating
make sure that firewall is not blocking ts
putting the client into debug mode
setting it to connect to a channel other then the default channel

I looked at the log and after seeing that it timed while still updating the channel list the only thing I can think of is that it can't handle the number of channels, but i don't understand why that would make it time out like this since I have connected to it on another computer as well as 400+ of my clanmates have connected to it in its current configuration at different times. Any suggestions for fixing it would be of great help
