* TeamSpeak version 2.0.32.60
* Using Windows XP without any Service Packs
* Soundcard & Driver version - Unknown
* Game (full name, no shortforms like "CS") - Not affected
* DirectX Version - 9.0c
* Error Given: 24-11-06 19:43:18,2420,WARNING,All,procedure TDICallBack.execute,"The operation had no effect." or "The device buffer overflowed and some input was lost." or "The device exists but is not currently attached." or "The change in device properties had no effect."
In short, every time I start up Teamspeak, and minimize or browse away from it, when I re-maximize or go back to it, I can't click anything. The buttons at the top are highlighted, but clicking them does nothing. I tried deleting the .conf file as was suggested when it won't maximize (Since it won't minimize for me, either), as well. My only other thought is that I should update DirectX...
Try this: Rightclick on trayicon->Show
I had this problem a few weeks ago.
Otherwise switch with ALT+TAB between the current windows. When you minimize the Connection-Dialog you will get this problem, so if you switch to the TeamSpeak-Client with ALT+TAB the Connection-Dialog should restore.
And please update your client to the current BETA.

Ah well, neither of those are working... nothing happens on a right click, and when I alt+tab, it doesn't come on top of windows; it's the same.
I'll update to the beta, then... once I finish that, I'll edit this to tell you whether or not I'm having the same problem...
Yes, it appears as if the beta is giving me the same problem. I can move the window by dragging, but otherwise, absolutely nothing works.... not even when I try to close the window.

Double posting for an update;
It seems DesktopX, a third party program to make your desktop look better, was screwing with my TS. Now it works perfectly, after I uninstalled that. Just an odd quirk :D, but thanks for your help.

I'm having this same issue with TeamSpeak, running Windows XP SP2. It seems that the minimize / restore action from TS is somehow being affected or interfered with because once I minimize and then restore the program (without even playing a game) the window restores but is somehow "out of focus" and can't be clicked at all.
Like D.Mentia, I'm running a Stardock program (in this case ObjectDock instead of DesktopX) and disabling that seems to fix it. I have no issues using ObjectDock to launch or restore any other running program.
Don't know whose fault this is, but it would be nice to have this issue fixed. I'm going to post a bug on the Stardock forums, but I doubt they'll be interested in fixing something so a 3rd party program works correctly :(

I seem to have a problem also like this. When I minimize TS, I can't reopen this, tried Alt Tab it is there when I highlight it but still the server I joined doesn't come up. I then closed and reopen TS, it just goes to my task bar, right click icon see connect and show have tried to connect or even show and nothing.
Have download the new beta and read through hear, seen a few that had something close but still tried a few things here and still nothing. I have even deleted and reinstall this a few times through add and remove programs (and check to make sure it is all gone), would work for a while then do this all over again.
This is my system.
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz
Memory: 3 Gig RAM
Hard Drive: 3 x harddrives 7200 rpm

Monitor: NEC MultiSync LCD2335WXM(Digital)
Sound Card: SB Audigy Audio [A800]
Speakers/Headphones:

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254)
I have check lately and everything is up to date. Can anybody here give me any suggestions that I have not tried

JUst tried again to reinstall and now can get it open, but when I try to set my talk button it locks up. I also have to get it to run in "run as" can't just click and join the server I want to. This is getting frustating and nobody is really giving any advice in how to really fix this.

Now when I open I get this message "An undetermined error occured inside the DirectInput subsystem. This value is equal to the E_Fail standard COM return value."
Try to switch to wave (Settings->Options: Sound Driver)

The onboard sound card is disable as I have sound audigy installed, and I picked the wav, no problem. But the main problem is just getting TS to open, sound is not a problem (check in options). Now when I do get it open and go to pick a key (push talk) I can not even pick a key. Plus I have to right click icon and pick "run As" to just open, I cant dbl click, it just goes to taskbar or it opens but cant click anything.
I also just upgrade a couple of days ago to a new vid card, more ram and PS, but I made sure everything was update (scroll up for info). Plus if there is nothing open on my desktop like xfire, then when I alt tab nothing comes up, if TS is in my taskbar.

Still a no go with this. Cant even open just by click it on. Have to right click icon and pick "run as" to even open but now it is stuck and I cant even click connect. This is getting frustrating as the clan I play with is on TS, and even they cant figure this out, as it was working a week ago, now nothing.

Well ppl I have given up on this as nothing is working. And any solution I found here don't seem to work for me. As for microsoft, nvida and everything else seems a third party application should make it work with these systems. Lots of ppl having problems and just the usually mobo of see FAQ or download this, but not an outright fix or answer to anybodys question.
