The service binary installs the TeamSpeak 2 server as a windows service which means that the server will be started with windows automatically even without a user logging in.

More information can be found in our FAQ:

Can I install TeamSpeak as a Windows service? (http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=faq&id=4&item=46#q46)

Re-read my first post... You simple not know what "service" mean, exactly.
"Service" term mean that one is serve to help in solve of a specific function.
I.e. - allow clients to speak together. Not more than this. No useless functionality, like "showing" himself in the tray or so on. "Just working" - better description for any *good* service.

If you want to learn more about windows services, you will have to search the web for more information. This forum is not the right place to discuss things like that.

If you don't know how to handle the service binary, simply stick to the normal TeamSpeak 2 server version. The service binary is outdated anyway and it's not recommended to use it any longer.
