OK, first, I LOVE TS!!!!
No for my problem.

Using TS on an Inspiron 9200 for 2 years without any problems. but now windows sounds and troubleshooting voice tab shows voice getting through to computer and I hear in the headset, BUT no voice output in TS.

Deleted the TS folder, downloaded latest client, but no change.

works in default channel but not in specific channl.
Is the default channel an unmoderated channel und the "specific" channel is a moderated one?

You need to have the privilege to speak in moderated channels (V, O, CA or SA).

Alot of people have the general misconception that just plugging in a microphone will make it work, and not many realise that a simple thing as a windows update can mess up your settings.
the defualt windows setting that i have found when people install TS is that there mic's are muted, and with windows being windows you have to know where to look.... try this

open up your master volume control (may look like a speaker icon in yoru task bar next to your clock) or you may have to go in through your control panel.... either way once you have it select your options at the top and then properties.. now place a dot in recording and then check to see that you have a tick in the microphone box and click ok

now you should be looking at yoru TRUE microphone settings all others are generally a joke.
