i cant hear people talking on the teamspeak server

i just got teamspeak and i cant hear people talking on the server!!! i know that my sound is on and i see the light come on when other people are talking but i cant hear them. please someone help!:confused:

Do you have more than one sound card in your system?

If so, do you have TeamSpeak configured to go to the right soundcard?

Have you tried changing your TeamSpeak settings from DirectSound to Wave (and/or vice versa)

i only have one sound card installed and when i do switch from wave to direct sound i get a brief voice of the people that are talking and nothing more.

Try updating your sound card drivers, and also updating your directX version. www.microsoft.com/directx

is there a website where i can download the teamspeak codecs only and not the client?
