Help Odd Static Noise coming from Mic

Yo,

I seem to have a very odd problem! here's what is happening, When I'm on Teamspeak sometimes when I'm playing a game or surfing the web, etc. all of a sudden my friends on Teamspeak say "Whats that Noise or Dolf Fix your Micophone etc." Apprently from what they discribe and what I hear when I test it is, a Very loud Staitc Output Screching Noise that is coming from my Micophone over Teamspeak. Yes I use Push To Talk and yes I have DSL High speed Connection and yes I've cheak my headset for any split wires, etc. and yes I have baught two different headsets/Manurfacers, and yet still same problem, but here is when it gets very odd. When the Static odd noise happens if I close out of Teamspeak completley and then re-login to Teamspeak everything is fine again! It's quite odd and aggraveting and I hate to have to Mimiumize my game/Surfing web/etc. just to fix my microphone! So please somebody help me with this problem I would grately aprricate it!

ok had this problem one time

i ended up geting a new mic

if you have a rolling computer chair and it sometimes rolls over your microphone cord, thats the problem

wires get smushed and the skin gets cut open and the wires get crossed and get staticy

getting a new mic will probably solve your problems.

Your not alone on this problem. I have the same exact problem down to the quickfix even. I have a Soundblaster Live! sound card and that might be the problem. I'm looking into this right now and if I find a permanent fix, I'll post it here.

Make sure, that you have this settings (http://teamspeak.buddha.eu.com/indexeng.htm) while you are playing the game.

Otherwise toggle between wave and direct sound. (Settings->Options)
