Are you trying to use your external IP Address?
As if so, it wont let you do this
Use the internal ip address - if its on your pc try 127.0.0.1
Will it work for everyone on the internet? I have been using a 192.... IP (it has a pic of a computer and I can get on). There is another one which I am told is my WAN (72.86.... and it has a pic of the world). <--That one is the one I cant get on.
The 192.. ip is your LAN ip and people only on your connection with the server running on will be abble to connect, the 72.86.. is your WAN ip witch people who are not on your connection will connect to and if people cant you must of not put your ports foward in the FAQ thing it tells you the needed ports to be put foward

Generic "my friends/users can't connect" checklist:
1) Are they connecting to your WAN address (www.whatismyip.com)
2) Are the ports forwarded from your rotuer to the TeamSpeak Server on your LAN? (www.portforward.com)
3) Have you made an exception for Inbound UDP traffic on port 8767 in your software firewall(s)? This includes the Windows Firewall which is ON by default in Windows XP SP2
4) Is the server running? (test by connecting to it yourself)
