I can help I have same router !!! Go in ur router and open ur port virtual server setup ! I think port is ( default 8767)...If not work U see what port u TS used in ur server info and chance ur port and now u can host ;)
1) you CAN NOT change the LAN IP to a Internet (WAN) IP.
you need to forward in your router setup the TS server port (default: 8767) to the LAN IP of your TS server.
thats all....
how to make the forward ? there are thons of diff. routers with diff. settings. you better ask this in a router forum if you have problems.
Where is the router forum please as I'm not seeing it?
This is not a router forum ! This forum is for TS only.
If the forwarding is your problem, then use google to search for a router forum (there are tons).
Or you can wait till someone here has the exactly same router and can help you, but I would not count on this last option. Better get active yourself.

Im tryig to do the same thing. Hosting TS server for my LAN does me no good, I need to host the sever so people from outside the lan can connect.
is this possible to do with a router? I would imagine it should be.
I have a netgearFVS318. How can people outside my lan use TS2?
People from outside you lan will be able to connect to your server so long as you port forward the Ts port 8767 (in most cases). I have no problems and im behind a router. Not sure how to set up yours as someone has said do a search on the net for your router or look at your manual.
Forward the port 8767 on your router to your ts2 server lan ip.. ie 192.168.1.100
If you do not know how to forward a port check the owners manuel that came with your router or contact your router's tech support..
