Hello,
I have seen some other servers that have a picture on the right. To the right of the server name and all that. It is like a small picture. I have seen them on other servers and I would like to know how I can post something like that.
Does anyone know how to do that?

I hope that you use an anonymous login to your ftp. Otherwise every visitor will have the login data.

Okay, I put the code line in there and I still dont see the picture. I have taken a screen shot of my INI file and posted a link below, tell me if I have done something wrong.

If anyone also has Xfire, could you maybe add me and help me out if you could.

You could have just copied and pasted the contents, and put code tags round it...

Ya, But I just thought this would be faster and easyer.
How is downloading an image faster and easier?
It means to test the url of the image for example, we have to type it out manually...
And it would've taken longer for you to upload it then just pasting onto here...

Anymore ideas?
I looked on the FAQ, it says you got to restart the server. Do they mean the INTERER server or just shut down the TS server program and turn it back on?

Just the TS server.
Would be awkward if you needed to reboot your server machine everytime you make some changes...

Follow what it says..
To stop all the confusion about how to put a banner into the top-right corner of the client:
You don't need any TCP query command for it, it's as easy as editing the server.ini.
Append the following lines to your server.ini file:
[ISP]
GFX URL=http://available.for.all.clients/image.jpg

is there any way to put a banner up without editing the sever.ini say using telnet or some sort of program.

Have you restarted the server after changing the gfxurl...?

For restart, have you restarted the individual server, or the whole server program

I restarted the whole thing.
This is what your server.ini should look like for a pic. I had trouble understanding at first but got it after a while. I think examples are beneficial. Values will be different for you though.

yes you did have set image.
http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=faq&cat=server&rate=30#howto_set_hosterbanner
my own image have dimensions 200x80 ; filesize around 5KB :D. The issue might be the image hoster(MENTIoned in FAQ btw!).
make sure the TeamSpeak server is restarted and also cached image in TeamSpeak client is deleted.(<<FAQ)
example removed

example TSserver tpc.webyt.net example image url http://tpc.webyt.net/TS/ts_ts2c.jpg (folder with that image is viewable)
ok im using my home computer as a server. would that have any bearing on this problem?
My Image hoster is not the problem as I tried this on someone elses server and the banner came up fine.
Here is the new banner I made which is smaller. Do I need to delete the image cache ini? or go into it and delete whats in it?
I again restarted my server and still nothing showing. Why something so easy must be so difficult?
Any more help would be appreciated

Well,
I finally figured it out. I think Teamspeak needs to update their FAQ.
For you all that cannot get your Banner to show up, here is what you need to do. (This is for anyone running Vista or Windows 7)
Now, when I installed my Teamspeak Server I installed it directly into my:
Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program File > Teamspeak2_RC2 folder.
Some of you may have made this same mistake by pressing the "ok" button when the box popped up telling you that a TeamSpeak folder already exists and asked you if you wanted to install into that same Teamspeak2_RC2 folder.
When it was done I didnt know that it also creates another folder in the:
Local Disk (C:) > Users > your name > Appdata > Local > VirtualStore > Program Files > Teamspeak2_RC2 folder
In this second location above you will find another server.ini file in that folder. You must open up and add the same line:
[ISP]
GFX URL=
as you did in the first server.ini file located in the Program File > Teamspeak2_RC2 folder.
Make sure you save and then close your server and your Teamspeak, restart and your banner should appear.
I hope this makes sense cause believe me it took me 2 days of pulling my hair out to get the banner to finally show up.

using such a shity OS makes me puke for change
How would you know that Windows 7 is a crappy OS? Are you running it on your pc? I think not! since it hasn't been released to the public yet ;)
I am not running Windows Vista you dummy! And please use proper grammer when responding to someone. It was very difficult to understand what you were saying.
When you have ppl come on here and complain about the same issue I had, you should respond by asking them what OS system they have so it would not have gotten to the flaming part but you really pissed me off with your smart reply. If there was a post done on this subject already then please point me to that thread and prove me wrong.
How old am I? Old enough to be your Daddy ... ooh 41 by the way and much more smarter than u think I am.
Have a nice day! :)

Very bad idea to place your logos on foreign hosts.
