TS Sound Question

Hi, can anyone help me? Im pretty new to TS, and it is useable and I get most of what other people are saying however I cant help but think im missing parts of conversations. I wonder does the soundcard make much difference with this kind of thing? I run on a 10mb broadband connection so I should be getting clear TS right?

Check the codec you´re using. Best quality with Speex 25.
But even with that codec the voice is compressed, limited and cutted in bandwidth, though.

I still hear the biggest differences with the use of different microphones, if you really have problems to understand what others say, tell them to buy a headset which costs more than €3.
