no sound when entering channel

hi all,

i have a teamspeak server running and that works fine only when users change form channel het people in the channel don't hear that there is someone that joins there channel.
in the past it worked fine.

the server is set at clan mode, which it has always been.

i have looked at the settings but couldn't find it anywhere, does anyone have any idee what it could be, please let me know.

Do the channels have the flag "moderated"?

If a channel has this flag, the users need Voice, Operator, Channeladmin or Serveradmin to speak with each other.

it is not that users can't speak it is that the people in the channel don't here that someone enters the channel.
