Team "Speaker" addon issue!

Hello to the community,

I have searched the forums but couldn't find any info on the Team Speaker addon. I really like the idea of haveing an audio notification when someone moves into my channel. I hate talking to someone only to have another person inter the room in silence & was hoping that this addon would solve that.

However I'm having trouble getting it to log on at all. I put in my information & it logs on for a split second, then logs off, like its being blocked, yet my server has no blocking set up, its the free version.

I've also tried it on my BF2 Tournament server and the same thing happens.

I ask two things,

1. Can someone provide information how to get it working

or

2. Share info on another app or configuration to TS that would accomplish the same idea.
(notify audiable if someone moves into your channel or leaves same channel)

In TS it self, Settings, then Sound Notifications. Open up Joining and leaving channels.

Thank you, but that only works when someone logs on or off TS, once they are logged on, they can move from channel to channel in silence, only a text msg at the bottom notifies of a room change.

Unless your doing the moving to yourselfe then you get the audio that "you" have switched channels or someone with SA moves you, you get this notification.

What I'm talking about is being in a room with someone, then another person, already on TS comes into that room, there is no sound.

The "Member Join" & "Member Left" audio only occurs when someone logs on or off.

Test it for yourself, get in a channel and have someone already on TS move into your room and see if you hear any kind of notification that the person has join your specific channel.

This program speaks the players nickname when they join or leave a server. very useful if your busy playing a game.

For me it only works when a player enters or leaves the same channel you are in. I think this might be something you are looking for. (use microsoft default voice)

Sorry I didnt update an answer for my questions. I talked to the creator of the app "Team Speaker" & he released a new edition with the functions I was interested in.

You can get the lastest version and submit any issues you have directly to him, he is very easy to work with. His name is Snowman.

The Program TeamSpeak PlayerSpeak uses Microsoft Sam's voice if that is the default voice of your system or you could change it to another voice if you have others. There is no settings for the program you just run it before you start TeamSpeak.
