Audio Plugin System

I'd like to see audio plugins, so we can use any sound system we want (quite important on Linux).
For example I want to use the JACK Audio Connection Kit (http://jackaudio.org/) and JAMin (http://jamin.sourceforge.net/) to master microphone input.
