Hi I am in the process of testing a program that my team has been developing that gets rid of those channels that cant be deleted.
We have learn how to do this and with lots of testing on one of my own test servers we have worked out how they do it. (cant tell how)
From our findings we have developed a little prgram that will remove the bit that stops you deleting the channel and then it allows you delete them as you would normaly.
The program is currently in Closed Beta testing and will be ready for release soon.
Any feed back on the idea would be great,
Andy.

So like a SQL delete on the channel?

IMHO there are no channels that cannot be deleted.

I think he's meaning if you get errors trying to delete them via the TS Client
Hmm I just never saw sth like this maybe there is a server where someone could show me. Seems to be interesting.

Why not upgrade your client and/or server, then these channels won't cause errors when trying to delete them? This project, as you describe it, sounds like a waste of time, as anybody can upgrade his ts clients and servers for free...

Somehow, word "Titanic" came into my mind.

Thanks for the great support!!!!!
Any way i do have the latest server version and if yous dont want it thats ok, me and my m8s will use it.
Sorry for bothering your time.
the latest server version
Then update your client. You'll see that you can delete this channels with it.
(Otherwise show us those channels, so our developer team can fix it)
or use a real operating system that doesn't use crap like rtf in every visual component :-P

Well I have the lastest client and the lastest server (that is if you have updated them on your website) and I dont use a crapy operating system (unless ur saying Linux is crap).
So I think my program is a good idea but as always you have to be better. So we have decided not to release here as you do not respect what others are doing for your program, Peter.
And from what I have read on this forum, Peter, you think everyones ideas are a waste of time.
(Otherwise show us those channels, so our developer team can fix it)
and we wont be helping you, thats for sure.
and we wont be helping you, thats for sure. Then, this case is closed.
