I went through this (http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=tutorial_b) letter by letter. Everything seemed to work fine. But, when I went to start the server, this is the error message I got.
starting the teamspeak2 server
./teamspeak2-server_startscript: line 7: 17556 Killed
linux -PID=tsserver2.pid
Whats next?

Ok, maybe you can't help with the error, but maybe the installation steps?
1. downloaded the server app
2. installed it on the server
3. tried to run the script
Did I miss something?
I got the same problem

Would be nice to get some help huh? I think I'm gonna try one of the other programs similar to this.....TeamSpeak leaves me no choice.

Try giving us more information like Kernel, log file, Teamspeak binary version. Also I don't suppose you've actually tried to do a search on the problem because as Boebi correctly points out it has been discussed before in multiple threads.

I think that If is it important to someone and someone want to help you ...
crazy idea below, but very quicky and after that, only the solver-man write here solution+decription of that problem
why did not you provide him in PM (for ex.) address to SSH and username + pass that maybe solve problem
because after that that user can get info about everything he need
set passwords again is the smallest problem
if you are some "Pc loser" wich can do only clicking things with step by step tutorial ... I think nothnig help here ... maybe if you start to learn something ....
echh maybe it seems that I am a pesimistic but when you ask I try to help...

If only the world was that trusting, if only teamspeak would pay us to sit around here and sort out everyones problems.
Slight hint I grab 2 minutes on the forum when I can, try to help a few just the same as quite a few out there has helped me. If people want instant answers or people to totally solve their teamspeak problems then go get a licence and with it comes a nice support option. In the mean time I'll help where I can, and get help when I need it.

I think a lot got lost in translation.
BUT, to show you what people are like I tried to help a person yesterday on MSN who got my msn contact details from here. Unfortunately he was runnng a windows server and I've only ever installed linux teamspeaks. At the end of it all he said he had one last question....Thinking it was a technical query I said go ahead only to be asked how big my breasts were.
Well he's on my ban list and he's also spoilt any chance on 1 to 1 help for anyone anymore :(

translation : possible (and also written badly on my side)
-> I see, ... pity
in my case Win & Lin
client & server

I tried to search on the forums, and when I didn't see anything, then I posted. Could be me and what I tried to search for, who knows. Maybe I was expecting one of the 50 hits or so would have said, yeah, I've seen the problem, there's a solution on here someplace. Then I would have went ahead and tried to search all over again, in a different manner. Oh, and no, I'm not looking for someone to "hold my hand", and yes, I'm still relatively new to all this, so sorry if my limited knowledge on the subject offended someone. As for giving more info, once again, if I knew what I was supposed to give, I would have. I spent countless hours on the site, reading your help and stuff. Maybe it was me that missed stuff in the "translation".
I did get one of the other programs running. I would have liked to have teamspeak running. Maybe in the next upgrade to my site.......

Well the reason as to why I said Try giving us more information like Kernel, log file, Teamspeak binary version. is that without them your fault could be 101 different things.
As for your "teamspeak leaves me no choice" comment all I can say is if you want teamspeak that much and believe that the Teamspeak people owe you support then perhaps you shoud buy a licence that comes with a support contract then you can have all the support you want, mind you the first thing that they'd ask is probably for all the info that was asked from you in my first reply :p
Now chill out, let us know your kernel (and possibly which flavor linux you have), which teamspeak binary you used (or installation package) and copy your log file into here (make sure that you remove the superadmin/admin passwords first)
Kymmy
and also maybe good info wich can help you (test connection from internet to TS)
http://ts2test.planetteamspeak.com/
and send the result here.
I do not saying that the result should be full OK/success !
