Because I want some statistics and I can't find anything.
My idea is quite good I believe.

What do you think ?

Someone was looking at doing the 'most active user', it was by no stretch an easy task, and i believe they gave up as it was a faff to do

UPDATE: i don't know but why but at least WHY they didn't FIX the bugs in the gllcTS2 ?? I mean the 4.2.4 version too.
I still using the 4.2.2. I didn't so difference ; except that is added MANY unuseful big comments ; time for WEBPOST.php doing his work is still enough big I think.
I suggest they should made same edit as I .
maybe is ony my problem becaouse of the safe_mode in php at least.

I now going to alfa testing.

I know that I can do it by other ways like add something to PerlMod etc.
but not everyone use PerlMod or other thinks.

So TS server, WebPost (webserver+PHP)
I think is used almost everywhere ....

one idea i had is how about make it where it can auto list what bandwidth is being used for each port.

Hi Love the sound of the script that you are making and I like the screen shots you got there looks very good and i cant wait for a release. When do you think you will have a release ready.
And I think total logins would be the best, but then others may think different, so why not put both on and make a option so you can turn one off.

I have a few options like SkipClients(users wich are connect like robots in future use of TS) SkipHosts(by IP or DNS) or OnlyClients OnlyHost ..... etc

So I appreciate all the effort that you are putting into this project.

1. I write it in PHP (I know best this "programing" lang. except asembler .... ;) .... C, very litle java, perl ....
also because when someone have TS and using webpost(gllTS2) he also have Webserver with php (to run it gllTS2) so without problem..
and if you read the first text in txt file I think I mentioned there this.
Now when I develop it I write it directly to the page to see it immediately (only for me)
It generate whole html page !
but there are 2 choises
a. [most posible] generate static html files somewhere
b. show the source code of that html file in textarea to copy it.
I don't know if is it the answer you want. ..

also I have one think wich is in TO DO list because it is posible to make somethink same like server traffic but with the user ... what size of data they send each month ... day ... (any time period)

I must also add some text on the top of that html page like :
this is from webpost function of TS server so ...... etc .. you can imagine because only every 5minbut this was made to the easy way how to create statictics ...

well ... to say true I stopped a little in developing it becouse doing some other stuff
However I gonna finish it if not until new year then before 1y from my first post about it here

I write peps who mailed me to ICQ (crazy huh) or PMed me I let them know at first when I will have it done.
names on that remid first list are:

(remind me if I forgot someone)

hopefully sooner then these time limits.
and yes I add it to 3rd party res...


UPDATE 2: OH and btw it was on this forum or where I heard/read someone want publish his TS on few servers ?? if it was via webpost I already did it like 5months ago ... and still its operational but as someone be4 I think u will regret that kind of decision later

Well I am glad to here that you are going to finish your project Tomas, as I am still waiting for that release.i cant wait for a release. When do you think you will have a release ready.
I hope you get it done before xmas or at least TS3 as there maybe some editing needed.

Anyway still cant wait for it, as it is one thing I have always wanted for TS.

from someones hint:
I have done kidna weird but I hope usefull code (weird in way of using php for it)

if you are not gonna wait month, OUT_enable=1 will help you with daily output
(funny purpose changed name remained)

results are in ./out folder by default
you can find some result there each 2 hours or after month cross depends on configuration

EDIT:
issue: include maybe didn't work., (its possible that not all peps have it.)
how it appear: after 2hours of run it fall.
fix: so I made it in one file php. without include
attached zip file updated (13)

results will be saved in folder ./out/ (default)
every out or data file is free to view (with comments at first lines)

EDIT 2:
code_wanted & beta tester : S@ndel @ .ua
reasons ? max channels reached and not all are used at his server

fixed: "Theres also one unfixed mistake in script ... about daily stats"
fixed: "in TeamSpeak some channel has same name as sub-channels on other channels... so script count there channels as 1 channel"
fix & changes:
- small OUT edits
daemon
- +2arrays +daily data files
- possible mistake in time-ing

(uncompatible with previous version counters start from zero)
attached zip file updated (+43+1)

pls its beta now cuz I don't know why I saw error once ... testing it

Well I have downloaded your script and I am trying to run it, but see the location you have for php in TC_cl.sh,
its not the location that php is on fedora core 4. I always thought that Fedora 4 php was in /etc/php.d, but your script doesnt like that.

You no the location it is on Fedora Core 4 ?

Also does your script require php5 ?

Try "which php" - Should tell you where its installed

Thanks for the handy command, but as I guessed php is in /usr/bin/php.

When I try to run TS_cl.sh using the command ./TS_cl.sh I get the following error:

[root@host2 TS_channels]# ./TS_cl.sh
: bad interpreter: No such file or directory


Any sugestions, am I doing it wrong?

this usually refers to first line on *.sh file
wich means u have to check/change the bash/shell/command_line interpreter
in wich will the *.sh executed
( file /bin/sh doesnt exist in other words or access rights (x) not enought ) ( try bash )
or maybe
cat /etc/shells

no script is using only few commands I believe it not need php5
telnet connection ; write read files ; sleep() ; arrays

yes php binary file can be in different locations in other Linux distro-s
but DEFINETLY its not inside /etc as for every other apps

Theres also one unfixed mistake in script ... about daily stats
I gonna fix ASAP as I find (not game) free time. (game<that sucks)
pls recheck this topic I will update file here aswell

script is made for one server heh CrazyAndy if you need multiple easyest way is to copy it

Thanks tomas I will try changing the stuff in the TS_cl.sh file in a few weeks, as I have far too much work on at the moment.
Also why I havnt replyed for long time, sorry.

In a few weeks I should have all the time in the world (well not realy but alot more than I have now lol)

Maybe you will have the unfixed mistake fixed by then and ill try it too.
