Connect to local TS² Server

Hey,
I am running a server on my dedicated server...
When I try to connect locally from there, I get a connection refused.
But people from the outside can connect...

What can I do that it accepts local connections, too?

thats odd... ususally people post about the opposite problem

are you using the term "localhost" or typing in 127.0.0.1
if localhost doesnt resolve then your hosts file is messed up
you can test this from terminal by trying to connect to any service by using localhost
