Hey guys, I need some help here. I have a domain and webhost, www.geekmeisters.com
I would like to have a teamspeak for our site and forums. I logged into my Cpanel and found that my server was running Linux. I only have FTP and Cpanel to install the Linux server version of TS2. I download Linux Server Version of TS2 and I create a folder named "tss". I uploaded the full contents of my downloads onto there. Now what do I need to do? I do not know what they mean to put in the start server script because I do not know where to put it in. I need to know how to properly setup the server if I did not do so otherwise and run it. Thanks.

First question, is your webhost going to allow you to setup a teamspeak server on their server and it not violate their terms of service. Teamspeak has to be started typically via logging in using ssh into the linux server and even then has to have the rights to open the port.

I would HIGHLY recommend you contact your host before you proceed. This is a good way to make a host cancel your services without notice.

If you are really wanting a teamspeak server you probably would be best renting one from one of the resellers on the main page.

So I would need SSH first? My hosts allow anything.

Use putty, it's simple and it's free. The server also has to run ssh, and allow external connections.
