Hello. I was able to connect to TS last week. nothing has changed with my router. I am now unable to connect to connect to any server from TS and i also cant see the public server list ether. My router log is fine its not blocking anything from TS and my firewall isnt ether.
My TSclient log is as followed:

Typically, if someone isn't able to get *out* - it's their firewall software blocking the program or port.

Check your firewall software to make sure it doesn't stop TeamSpeak and/or traffic outbound on UDP port 8767

I checked that. i have another computer right next to me on my lan also and it is having the same issues.

Not entirely sure then.

The next bet would be that the firewall on your router might be blocking "obscure/unknown" traffic outbound. That's pretty uncommon for a home-level router, but it's possible. I'd check there next - though I imagine if that were blocking the traffic you'd find that nothing other than web browsing would work (games, especially, would be likely to stop connecting to their servers).

If your router supports outbound packet logging, you might want to enable that, try to connect to a TeamSpeak server, then turn the log off again.

That way you can check the log and see:
1) If the packet got to the router (if not - your PC is stopping the packets, go back to the firewall)
2) What the router did with the packet (drop it? Forward it? Make any changes to the port?)

It's a crapshoot as to whether or not your router supports such functionality, but if you can *get* that kind of information, feel free to post it here and I'd be happy to take a look at it and try to decipher it for you. :) (Just trim it down to the part about TeamSpeak). ;)

No it doesn't. I activated my router firewall and my computer firewall to report a full log to me with all the info it can. It had nothing to do with teamspeak ipaddress or ports in the blocking.

Well. . . bummer.

Without more information about where the connection is dying, I'm not sure what more to tell you.

In the short-term, it *sounds* like you've done everything right. It isn't working however, so we've obviously overlooked something somewhere.

You say you've told your software firewall to generate logs - but TeamSpeak connection attempts don't show up in that log?

Short of TeamSpeak simply being broken (reinstall and try again) it still sounds like *something* on your PC is stopping it from even getting to your PC's network stack. . . but I'll be the first to admit that's something of a stretch. :-/

Good luck.

ya. well logic would say if 2 computers on my lan cant get TS working then its a router issues. but without my log telling me anything i agree that there isnt much to do.. funny how Ventrilo works fine and i never have to foward ports to get ts or vent to work before, and ventrilo still doesnt need to.. o well. thanks tho man.

Actually - quite the opposite.

If two computers on your LAN are having an issue, that points back to your firewall - since computers on the same subnet of a LAN won't need to use the router to communicate - a router is merely a doorway between two networks (your private network and the Internet in this case).

Are you connecting these LAN PC's to your lan address? (most likely 192.168.x.x)

hey get this. I went thru opened every port on my router, turned off all my firewalls let my lan and my comps fully open right? Still TS doesnt work.. so i say screw it. I finaly got my cousin to get Xfire so i re dl it also and install it. I was thinking mabe i can force it to connect to a TS server by click his name and saying join(while i reset my firewalls to normal and put all the ports back) well that option was grayed out right? well for the hell of it i clicked on ts and tryed to connect.. It works now?? i dont get it man. but wanted to just let you know lol. Late
