green light never goes off

I have windows exp and my green light never goes out when i am on team speak. And the others are saying that i am taking up to much band width. I can change it to push a button and then it goes out but when i push the key to talk it. makes a buzzer sound like it does not like it. I have tried turned off all sound on my computer and put my mic on mute and the green light never goes out.

Sounds like you're not broadcasting your microphone, but instead "What you hear".

From the Windows XP control panel, open the sound settings. On the voice tab is a wizard to help you setup your microphone.

I recommend running that wizard. Odds are it will help to not only tune your mic, but help filter out other mixer settings that would cuase you to broadcast things you don't want to.
