Noone Can hear me.

I ran a search looking for possible solutions but found none. I am using vista(huge peice of crap). Noone can hear me when i speak. It is not an administrator problem. Anyways I have tried nearly every setting imaginable and done alot of things to try and solve the problem but nothing works any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure your microphone is selected as the default recording device...

The thing is. It is set as the defaul device.

Does your green light light up?

Check the volume of the mic ...
check settings in TS (voice activation) ..
are you sure you connect mic correctly to the pc ??

also you should have an properties under mic volume when you selecting recording device ...
first to see it: you should enable in menu -- specify settings
and uder that buttom I mentioned should be at least some checkbox (wich in my case make signal stronger about 20dB)
did you already try that ??
with some mic is good to enable it with some others not.
example : my mic and my friend mic....
