newbie needs help

higuys im new to team speak and im having some trouble
basiclly when i talk to my friends they can hear me fine but every thing i say it gets repeated back like an echo
before people go of on one and say have searched the forums i have and i have changed all my setting as in previous posts and i can still hear my self

my sound card is a realtek ac97 but im going to upgrade is this wise and im using a trust head set

so if somebody can please help it will be much appreciated

Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Controls>Advanced>Options>Propertes>Playback>make sure mic is ticked>ok>Mute the mic.

I have also found that if someone on your TS is using voice ac without headphones then their mic can pick up your voice from their speakers & play it back over the channel to everyone else, you can find out who this is by watching each users green light go on when you talk, you can sort this by getting the users to adjust their settings or turn off voice ac.
