Is there any way to set the server make logs with a specific length? So it would create a new log (named for ex. with the current date) when the old one gets too long. Or is there a script/command for linux to empty a specific folder after a period of time? Im just getting bored on scrolling logs that are 2km of length when searching for someones ip-address...
If I'm doin' "stuff" with my TS server and the logs get big, I stop the server, delete the server.log, restart the server and it'll make a new server.log. You can also copy-and-paste important IP Address into a seperate .txt file, then delete the server.log.

Yes, I know that. Usually I just empty the log file in the linux shell by using pico and ctrl + k. Or then just delete it. But the question was if it is possible to automate this somehow..
You could include the TS2 server log into your distribution's log rotation system.
