Hi all, I'm sorry in advance for repeating any prior questions that may have already addressed this issue, however I've done numerous searches and could not seem to come up with a valid thread to help remedy my problem.

The issue is this: I am running a TS server off of a Win2K box in my home. By default, my ISP blocks port 80, so I have my router (D-Link DI-604) forwarding 80 WAN to 81 on my LAN. This is so I can host Apache, PHP, MySQL, and php-based web elements. I have successfully setup Teamspeak Server on the same box, followed the tutorials. used the defaults and opened them for it to function. The server runs, and people can connect.

The following morning I will wake up to find that people are having trouble connecting to the server the next day. I along with 2 or 3 others can connect fine, however the rest cannot. I went through a series of troubleshooting steps, and the only thing I can pinpoint is this: When using the TS2 Connection Test Website, (http://ts2test.planetteamspeak.com/?page=step1) The UDP fails at Step 3 for the Connection Handshake & Channel Listing. This I understand is because my server is password protected. However, once I check the next morning, all 4 UDP checks show up in error. The only way to resolve the issue is to make a slight change to the server.ini file, and reload the TS Server app.

I have tried switching with a new router, thinking the D-Link port forwarding might be screwy, still the same result. I have tried using different ports than the default, still the same result as well. The only thing the server does overnight that is different than when I goto bed, is I have MySQL Administrator scheduled to dump backups of the SQL database, and then reboot the server an hour later. When I come to the server in the morning, all is fine, it is logged in, and checking the Event Log, it has rebooted.

The second (and more minor) issue is that on the server, I've lost the ability to open the Administration panel by just right-clicking the TS Server icon. No, it is not greyed out. It allows me to click it, but only brings up the http://localhost:14534 page, which says it cannot be displayed. Typing in my DDNS address for the website followed by the port however DOES bring up the admin panel, I just cannot do it locally on the Server. Could this have to do with the site being forwarded to port 81? Or do I need to alter a setting in my server.ini?

Here's some additional info that might help. My TS Server.ini contents:

UPDATE: OK, so I was able to determine that the problem with the UDP port being unavailable everyday was because of a mistake I had made in the router port forwarding configuration. It has been three days now that I have not needed to make a change to the TS configuration to keep it running correctly. The reason you don't see this error in the screenshots is because I fixed it right before I posted them. :o

However, I am still having the issue loading up the Administrator's page. Using the taskbar shortcut it will not load, however when I type in the web address (DDNS address or IP) it works fine. Any ideas towards this issue?

Do you have a firewall?

Do you have a firewall?

No, Windows 2000 so no built-in firewall. And no software, either. Only the router, and the ports are forwarded, as per the screenshots.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why I cannot use the default link in the toolbar for the Administration Panel?

Prior threads have suggested that removing the boundtoIP may fix your problem.
Just go in and delete it and see if that helps.
I hope it does...
I still can't fix mine as I don't have my ip bound to my server.

Good luck
:)
