I am not sure how this would be worded and have spent the last hour searching the boards to see if this has been asked before and no luck; so if it has, sorry to re-ask it.

I am trying to find out if there is a setting in ts that broadcasts the server ip to some location that people can just look up different servers. We have a server that is only linked for users on our website (and I have checked and no unknown users there) and keep getting random guests logging on. I just set the badname like it suggested elsewhere for guest, guest1, etc so I am hopeful that will help some. I am wondering if there is somewhere else I can go to make changes to people who aren't in our guild can't just look us up somewhere.

One of my members said there is a setting but he didn't know exactly where.

Basically, I want to make my server as private as possible. We have made rooms only accessible by being registered so they can't talk or anything but it is frustrating to keep hearing "new player" and "player left".

Thank you for any help!

I think what you are looking for lies within the Server Admin part. Its on the Server Admin part of the web thing.

Look for Server Settings, Server Type. If you change that to Clan Server it wont show up in the big TS2 server list.

It is already listed as a clan server...

We just had someone pop on playing music and none of the admins could do anything. Everything was greyed out as an option and he was playing music on all channels...

Not using the beta version. Tried to install it now and it does not install, just puts badnames, server, and something else on my desktop then does nothing else...

You dont install the beta

You install the current release, download the latest beta, and replace the exe in the TS server directory with the one you downloaded for the beta version
