not make ingame sounds

This mostly occurs in win 98/me, using wave as output.
The drivers can't handle more than 1 sound source. Set teamspeak to use direct sound as output driver."

but when i set to use direct sound as output driver i receive this message:
TDsoundout.open(directsoundcreate):The request failed because sources, such as priority level were already in use by another caller.

Every time i try to play the game using TS2, the game crashes or there are no ingame sounds.

I had the same problem, so what i did is switched from wave to direct sound in the team speak under settings/options, then i had ingame sounds also.

I have this problem to, tried many things like sounddriver updates etc, but still cant get it to work. I have no in game sound as long as TS is running (both connected and disconnected). When I exit TS all my game and windows sounds r back. I have the same error as posted ^ when I try to switch to direct sound...

I realy could use some help here plz, I'm desperate :confused:

what kind of sound are you using? i have no problems with the soundblaster live 5.1. Try uninstalling ts2 and then reinstallling and try the default settings when reinstalled.

Do you have a top end machine or just a so so pc. Also do you have a server address that you play on and other people use it on that server(like for instance clan servers) also.

no, its just a so so pc
and yes, I use it on a clan server, no-one else has these problems tho

i have a SBPCI128, i know that i have to switch to DS, but its greyed out, any ideas?
