Yes. I've seen the other posts, but I wanted to show how much ppl really want an update to the quality of TS. Trust me, there are lots, and most are just giving up and switching to Vent. I like the sound of vent, but I love the depth of TS.
For those of you that are fine with how it is, thats cool too. I'm not suggesting removing the old codec's, just give us some higher end codecs. Plz.
You might say, wait for TS3. Seeing as TS2 is still only RC2 and not final, the wait would probably be still far off. Might say, well they are stopping at RC2. Don't know. If so, why not update it to final then. Not the topic anyway.
Broadband and PC's have made huge jumps. If our PC's can handle games like FEAR while downloading a 2 gig game demo while chatting on both TS and Vent at the same time, I'm pretty sure we can handle a codec upwards of 128mHz. 25mHz with only mono is stone aged.
I'm not cutting up TS, just asking for more. If you disagree, well, this is my suggestion not yours. It has nothing to do with your opinion frankly. I only say that cause I see alot of flaming on these boards when anyone asks or suggests anything, and its counter-productive IMO.
