New to TS, using a preexisting database

I have a phpBB2 forums, can anyone tell me exactly how to pull usernames and passwords from this database to use for authentication in TS. I would like to know how before I go ahead and install it on my server.

Yea, so it looks like that there is nothing more than sample code, and i'm supposed to make something out of it. Well, I think i'll stay with Vent until there is actually a way to do this.
