View Full Version : HELP! TeamSpeak2 Vulnerability

Hello! I have a BIG problem. All of our TS servers are always get hacked. There's a program which can connect with R+SA and can delete rooms, remove other SAs. Please help how can we defend these attacks.

We have:
- VERY strong passwords (characters-big/small, numbers)
- We give R for users who we know

They have... That's **** program... Please HELP!

Yesterday two US people come up on our TS when we played America's Army. They deleted all of our rooms and removed our SAs. They said: "Shut the fuck up, we talk.". They modified the room to "Moderated". That was 15sec or less... :(

Our last hope everybody have a "backup" registration against these attacks. I asked all ISPs in my country they said: "Clients can't do anything against this attacks, just the provider can run some programs what can defend these attacks. But these programs aren't perfect.."

One friend of my friend said the name of the program is: Team Speak Unit 2.5
I don't know it's true or false.. but please help! It's get annoying. We like TeamSpeak2 more than Ventrilo and we prefer TS. But if this will spread out we all change to ventrilo...

PLEASE! HELP!!!

Are you using the latest client and server developer releases?

Yes naturally. I found the hacking tool. It's a bruteforce hacker I think you know it. IT's name Hydra. There are a lots of "fake" clients too. They made by http://www.geekmeisters.com/

That's all what I've found. Maybe the solution is an algorythim what is enabling only 5login in 30min. I think it's a solution

The channel spammer just simulates keypresses in TS to create the channels...

Not a lot you can do but prevent people from creating channels
