background noise when i talk

hi everybody,

I use teamspeak in ubuntu. Unfortunately when i talk, there is an accute noise and it's very obstructing. I ask this question in unbuntu web site but nobody can resolve my problem. There is this same acute noise if I put a headphone. It's very embarrasing because i use teamspeak everyday and the only solution it's use windows. use windows for that it's very annoying. Can you help me ?

hmm i dont know alot about teamspeak, but i know there is a way or setting a volume at which noises will be picked up. the best example of this is when you install a game like battlefield or counterstrike.
You see a bar and you can test your mic to see if it works, but in this bar there is a blue line.

Now i think you have that blue line too low, which means your mic will pick up any noise, no matter how quiet.

mess with your mic settings/sound settings and teamspeak setting to see if you can change this.
