When starting server get error message

Error starting daemon. Aborted.

Have been told to ignore this, but cannot connect to webadmin etc. so presume server is not running, also cannot locate server.log to find out passwords etc. Am new to linux shell etc. so haven't got a clue wat to do :confused:

make sure your in the directory Teamspeak is in to start it

make ts exicutable

shell> chown -R some_user /path to ts/server_linux
shell> chgrp -R some_user /path to ts/server_linux
shell> chmod +x /path to ts/server_linux

shell> cd /dir to ts/
shell> ./teamspeak2-server_startscript start

Check out the topic here on the rollup issue, and try using setarch.

Also, type in uname -a and copy into here what it says. I had to switch servers because the kernel was upgraded to 2.6.9-023stab033.1-enterprise which is one of many that are incompatible with TS
