I have a server, it has been registered, but i try to get others to connect, but it says error - no response from server, or something along those lines, what can i do to fix said problem
and also, i cannot upgrade my account to a superserveradmin, there is no superserveradmin checkbox next to the normal server admin, please, a response to either of these will be helpful.
Thanks.
PS, i have looked at some other posts about the first topic, and none are helpful to me, and i havent found any regarding the second topic.
Make sure that you are giving them your wan ip. (Go to www.whatismyip.com if you do not know). Also that you have forwarded the ports and that you have made the exceptions with your firewall.
There is a superadmin account and a server admin account. One account can not be both. If you do not know or lost your superadmin account then check here.

ok, thanks, i got the super admin account, ill fiddle with that, and i know that there has to be something about the ports and firewall somewhere on this site, thanks
and i got my superadmin working, but i cant sign on to my server as superadmin, it says bad login, but i know its right
Superadmin can only login through the telnet connection and the webadmin connection. They can not login using the TS client.

its the cayman 3387W - netopia, i didnt see it, maybe im just blind though...
The models are pretty much the same. This method should work as long as cayman did not make any major changes.

ok, i got my static IP, but when i try to do the process here, http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Netopia/3387WG-VGx/TeamSpeak.htm, i enter my IP into the browser and google searches for my ip instead of having the box asking for a user and password
Try this.
localhost:14534
Or
LANIP:14534
Do not try.
WANIP:14534
