NO sound they hear me but i dont hear them

ok heres the situation....

i recently updated my comp to windows vista... before when i just had xp ts worked fine.
now i go on and i dont hear any sound.... no notifacations, no voice from anyone else nothing at all.
when i go into a chat they can hear me but i still cant hear anything at all!
i rebooted many times, deleted then reinstalled etc... =s

What do you have selected for the TS sound options?

You can hear sounds from other programs?

sound works on everything else yeah i can hear rs, music, everything else even other things like on msn or yahoo voice convo things...


and what do you mean on my ts sound options? i have all the volumes on max x.x

Like settings>options>if you have wave or direct selected.

Settings>sound input/output> what you have selected for output, the volume that you have for it.

ok for that i have direct sound
and for input/output i have voice activation at like 3/4ths and push to talk and for output volume its max

Try reinstalling TS. Vista might have done something with the TS files.

Have you ever muted you mic? Try what you selected befor to mute and then that same mute again to unmute. I have this glitch happen to me sometimes.
