Not Admin

when i log into me sever i dont have admin right just basic user rights?? can some on plz help

If you click on the blue settings button next to a name you can change the password of that user and optionally make him/her a serveradmin by checking the respective radio button. Click on save to make the alterations permanent.

Now if you can log in with the same thing in the webadmin area, with that account as a SA then you do have a problem.

no it dose not let me log in the SA area with that one but i still dont have admin right on my ts sever

and you tick the box for server admin using the webadmin?

If that did not work I can show you do to do it with telnet.

i did but when i log into my ts sever i'm just a user not admin plus when i creat a channel and if i leave that channel it's just gone?

use the same server admin account that you used to log in the webadmin to log in using the client. Do you have SA now?

When creating a channel you have to flag it registered for it to stay.

Let's fix some terms here.

Superadmin aka SSA can only log in using telnet or webadmin, not through the client.

Serveradmin aka SA can log in anywhere you have the option to.

Flag aka letters inside the "()" after channel name to edit the flags use this.

ok i made a channel but when i log out and log back in i loss my channel admin rights

What do you have next to you name after you logged? U, SA,R, anything like that?

Means you are unregistered.

If you can log into the webadmin, then choose the server you can connecting to choose the hammer wrench thing, next to the name of the one you are getting the "u" next to and tick the box next to the word server admin.

i did but i still only log in with the U thing but if i make a channel i have U CA but if i dissconnect i go back to the U on every channel???

Because you are unregistered CA goes away. As a matter of fact, now that I have gotten some sleep, You can not log in and get a U.
