Super Server Admin + Normal Server Admin

Hi, we have TS2. I want to set myself to super server admin and my a few of my friends to normal SA.

Ive tried to do this in so many ways but it still makes them super server admin when i want them to be normal server admin (SA). If somebody could help me with this, thanks!

Super Server Admin can not log on using the client. Super Server admin is used to log on through the webadmin and telnet.

So you will still need an SA account be able to log on the server. There are a couple of way to give your friends: webadmin, after you have selected the server, go to the user manager and tick the box; telnet, enter in the commands; easiest method, when they are online you right click on their name and grant serveradmin permission.

Well i want to give other users SA so they cannot edit channels or give anybody else SA. and i want to be SA with full access both on client side on TS.

How about you be the SA and then give your friends CA. Go into the webadmin to check which permissions you want them to have.

i understand but they are also admins of our site, that is the problem, ive been on another ts server where the the server admin has all rights and other SA's have some rights. Main SA is able to edit channels etc, but other SA's cant.

Isnt their a mod for this?

Not that I have seen. Ask them how they have it setup like that.

When you (the main admin) want to change some channel settings or something else, give the specific usergroup the permissions to do that with your superadmin.
When you are ready, switch it back.

Note that serveradmins shouldn't have the right to change the permissions. xD
