Greetings!

I wanted to set up a simple ts2-server. So I unpacked the files under /home/tss2-rc2

Typing ./teamspeak2-server_startscript just gives me this error:

bla@server$ ./teamspeak2-server_startscript start
starting the teamspeak2 server
./teamspeak2-server_startscript: line 29: ./server_linux: Invalid argument

I looked into the startscript, that's the concerned line:

./server_linux -PID=tsserver2.pid

I just don't know what to do, tried to start ./server_linux directly but just got:

-bash: ./server_linux: Invalid argument

Please help, thanks for your answers!

Btw, server's running under SunOS, hope that doesnt matter?!

Cheers Stefan

I have got exactly the same problem!

www.myhost.org> ./teamspeak2-server_startscript start
starting the teamspeak2 server
./teamspeak2-server_startscript: line 29: ./server_linux: Invalid argument

I don't know what to do...

Has nobody an idea?

Could it be that die program isn't able to create the required file (tsserver2.pid) ?

That is the only thing I can think of...

If this is the solution, what is to do to get it work?

For information: the server is an UNIX Type: L8 Server.

PS: I think this is the wrong section for this thread. It sould be at TeamSpeak > [TeamSpeak 2.X] Support > English Server > Linux ^^
