I am trying to add people to my banlist but its saying its too big and wont let me put then in it.

Its a Linux server, newest version. Its hosted on a website so I tried banning from the webserver but that does not work. Looking for other methods to ban.

Thank you very much

Just about everyones ip changes. Bans should be temporary. If you want you can use your firewall and block access to more ips.

its off site, non fire walled.

Is there a different way to ban ip's?

if you have acces to root, use the DENY FROM, otherwise use a .htacces and put it in there.

.htaccess = Apache Webserver configuration = nothing to do with TeamSpeak

Sh** i did it again.... My bad.....
Must be because he said it was on his webhosting...
Like Bastian said, forget about the .htacces, use DENY FROM is you have acces to that. Otherwise you might have to ask your host to add them into it.

I do have SSH access, I do not know that command.

Would you mind giving an example please?

Also why is the banlist so small for Ts2?

I do not even use the ip ban list as a permanent solution. I use it when there is someone that connects when I kick them. I then clear it minutes afterward. It is rare to find a person that has choose to get a static ip as you have to pay extra, and many people are able to get a new ip from just disconnecting and reconnecting their modem. I would guess that it is small as they did not expect you to ban that many.

I dont pay any extra and i have a static.. Almost all company's here provide you with a static IP ( for DSL user's, Cable is dynamic)

If I did not mess with the settings mine stays the same for months at a time, but I can change it either messing with the settings of the router or the modem.

My brother has DSL and he can change it ip in less than a minute, as everything the modem dials up he gets another IP. He like so mess with people from time to time of SWAT 4.
