horrible audio problems

Hello,
I'm having horrible audio technical difficulties with teamspeak. When I talk to people I get feedback that repeats and the audio quality is crap. I've tried everything and looked everywhere. I tried to talk to my friend over several different servers and we both here echoes and feed back. Does anyone know what to do?

Who's green light lights up when you hear the feedback?

both lights turn green and both sides feedback.

1.5 ram
cyber acoustics stand microphone (both computers) MC-1060

Are your speakers too high? Mic too sensitive?


Try muting your mic and see if there is feedback when the other talks. Does he hear his own voice in his speakers? Then switch it up and tell him to mute his mic and see if you hear your own voice.

If anyone of you do hear your own voice check this.
Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Controls>Advanced>Options>Propertes>Recording(Make sure all boxes are ticked)>OK>Tick the One for microphone.

You most likely have sound out or "What you hear" option as the recording device. I use it sometimes as a way to stream music across TS.
