Battlefield 2142 and TS

I play battlefield with a very large community, who are all on the same ts server. Is there any way for me to close off all the sub channels that are displayed for every main channel except the one I'm interested in, and save that configuration? That would save me searching through all the channels to see who else is in the channel I have set to automatically join.

Also, switching channels or muting/un-muting output causes teamspeak to minimize the game, and battlefield is really touchy about minimizing. Most of the time the game will crash, and I will have to close out and restart it. Any suggestions?

1. make the server public instead of clan. That way you will only see the people in your channel that you are in.

2. use shortcuts, Settings > Key Settings

You can click the "-" to make the list smaller, but it will not save. Every time the client connects to the server it creates those channels on the client. Default it will create them fully expanded.
