So i got this issue with TS.

I got the Razer Diamondback mouse, and i want to use mouse button 5 as the ptt key. Currently TS does not recognize this button, but all other programs i run (where i use it) does. I tried installing the latest razer drivers (from may 2007) and this didnt help either.

I read about ppl using the logitech drivers for their logitech mouses to bind the mousebutton to a keyboard button but this is not an option for me as mousebutton 5 also functions as forward in FireFox by default.

So my question for you, and the devs, is there some kind of hack i can do in order to get mousebutton 5 to be recognized in TS as a ptt key?

Thanks in advance.

Wait for TS3.

I have the Logitech MX1000 bluetooth version with the MX5000 keyboard combo, it has basicly 10 buttons (8 if you dont include left and right tilt). But i have the same problem. There is nothing you can do at the moment other than wait for TS3 and hope they have support for it. I had to bind one of the buttons as ='s and that works for me. But if i push ='s it activates my mic.

Ya the current version will only support the standard "original" keys for the push to talk, but you can always use voice activation!

same problem here... it makes me wander why TS is popular

Mine is a Razer Lachesis though.

if it's a know issue and you're adviced to use lame voice activation... well... guess it's back to ventrilo then :D

You can make the mouse button be a keyboard key and then make the ptt recognize that key.

Did that, tried, does not work. The Razer driver makes you repeatedly press the key when holding the mouse button. You sound like you've done it without problem though. How do you avoid the driver from repeatedly pressing it, thus making it possible others can actually hear what you say?

:D don't worry putting work in fixing this, as of last weekend it's officially back to ventrilo for our guild.
