Ok, i use to have a server that worked just fine a few mounths ago. I was on road runner at the time, but now i moved to a new house and road runner is not avaible out here and all i could get was a low quality DSL. Now no one can get into my server, iv enable the DMZ on my lan ip and set it to static. There are no firewalls or antivirus programs running. I have done everthing i did before when i was on road runner but now it just wont work. does anyone know what i should do or if dsl can handle this type of server?
Most dsl modems act as routers also.

This is port forwarding for a router not the modem. i already have ports forwarded on my linksys router. the default ip address dont work on that either.

Your modem acts as a router also. If not configured it will stop people from connecting, unless your modem is set in bridge mode.

Perform a traceroute to a place like google and you will be able to see the ips of the routers.
