Hello, I just got a new computer and said to myself"Yes, now I can do some serious gaming!" I went out and got a mike, got a new graphics card, got home, downloaded teamspeak, and called it a night. In the moring I got the ip from my clans TeamSpeak server plugged it in, put in the password, and to my suprise, it says "No reply from server Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it" And I know for a fact that it is online, with people on it. After maybe 150 attempts I lost my patients and when here. I saw someone else had this problem, and a tracert ip help. I have included one. I am also runing Windows Vista Home Premium, and yes, I always "Right Click->Run As Admin." The 192.168.10.1 is my router. And my ip is dynamic. I will answer any other questions, and thanks in advanced

Perform a traceroute to 194.146.194.85. Place TS in debug mode and copy the logs.

I have run ts in compatibility mode for xp service pack two, no dice.

SneakKing

is there another client program, maybe, that is compatible for the TeamSpeak servers?

BHKai
26-07-2007, 02:13
It is something with your firewall or some other setting. There is no other client that is able to connect to ts servers. There are different versions.

Then I guess I am out of luck with TS. Thank you for all your time and effort.

You are out of luck with Vista, not with TS. But You may get consolatin in knowing that You are not alone there.

I have also tried it on one of my XP computers with problems too. I had no firewall on, or or anything that could inhibit TeamSpeak. Could it be a compatibility issue with IE7 outbound rule allowing the client to use the udp protocol?

My friend has this same problem. But hes running xp mce. I couldnt find a fix for him. But just so you know it might not be vista either. Might be something with the internet. I havnt tried his computer at a different house though, but next time hes got it over i will.
