Why can't my friends log on?

Okay I went to portforward.com, I set up a static IP and I did the port forwarding thing. My friends still cannot log onto either my ventrilo or teamspeak server. I also set up the port in my firewall as an exception.

Any other suggestions?

Do you have dsl? The modems also act as routers.

They are getting a "cannot connect to server" error.
I do not have dsl. Wireless cable connection.
