I am having a hell of a time getting my TS server up and running. Here is what I have:

T1 coming in w/ Static IP address connected to:
Firebox Edge internet appliance connected to:
Windows 2003 SBS Server

I can't seem to connect to the server to test it. The process is running and seems to be working properly. Do I have to open ports on my Firebox? Does the ISP have to open up any ports on their equipment at the point of demarc?

Thanks,

Scott

Even inside the lan you should be able to connect without having to configure the port forwarding. Try to connect to the server using the lan ip.

I can't connect from inside the network, because I am behind the switch. The server is actually the gateway to the network, ie.

from T1 to Firebox (intenet appliance) to Server (in) -- from Server (out) to Router/Switch to Access Point and computers on network.

This making any sense?

Thanks

What ips show up when choose show ips, after you have right clicked on the TS server icon next to the clock?
