Server Problems

I have my firewall disabled and the settings are correct i think
Is there anything i might have missed that is required to run my server?

cause like i have a broadband modem?

No Router... What is exactly the problem? It is a little vague.

broadband "modem" is a router.. Whatever the ISP persons tell you. Even tho you dial up through pptp or similar, the socalled "modem" is a router.
What is your brand of the "modem"?
