Just something i think TS should look at.. Somewhere between 0.00-1.00 GMT 28. July, i was visited by two guys, speaking the same language as I am (Norwegian), on my server. I was happy for a little visit from people i did not knowc But all the suddenly they got CA and SA, and removed my SA. I did not shut down my server, 'cause i was convinced that i would find an way out.. wich i did. But it took me quite a long time to find it out, maybe an hour or so. All i want to say is that TS should, if possible, do something with this, 'cause it is not certain that everybody finds out how to remove them, and just shut their server down for nothing. Thanks.
It is called using the updated server versions and/or having safe passwords.
I really doubt that, i have never heard their voices, and my password is mine, and mine only. Noone i know (or don't know) have ever been told what my password is. This is because, among with other passwords, i use it on quite alot web-sites, and other services that's requiering an account and password. These guys must have gained access another way somehow.

no, update your server, use a strong password that is not in dictionary....
These so called "hack attempts" are in 99% of the cases the fault of the server owner. I run TS servers since almost the beginning and i have never had a single take over case.. Keep your server updated and your client as well and use strong passwords..
!@^97jhvHGC Thats a strong pw for example, and the name of your g/f combined with dob is not..
Well, this password has never been in a wordlist, and will never be. But what is the thing about update? i jsut downloaded it, do i have to update?

In both Linux and Windows case.
Shut down server, copy the file to the location of the server overwriting the old file. Then restart your server and voila, your updated.
